An Untitled Alternative Ponyverse (Octavia)

      Since some of my pony fan art will be based on this alternative universe, I should be laying out the background story. You see, I'm not really good with telling or showing stories so I can't provide a chapter/episode sequence thingy. I just sketched a few scenes in mind.

     So well, let's start with Octavia's family.




     A bloodline of prestigious classical musicians. You can already feel the royalty vibe her, right? Okey, you should be getting it now. (I like the ring of 'Von Clef' so I'll be using that.)
     
     Most known for their signature skill where a single Von Clef has the ability to orchestrate multiple instruments simultaneously. Needless to say, one must be a unicorn to be able to follow the Von Clef pride.


     Now, one of the best unfortunately encountered a fate that negatively affected her entirely. (I haven't have cutie marks for these O.C.s) During the travel back from a concert tour, a gang of earth ponies hijacked Frölich Kohinoor Von Clef's group and she was raped. Everypony but her was left alive. (It's some kind of a retaliation against the unicorn race in Canterlot. This world is really messed up. I have to add details about this part some other time.) This incident got her pregnant, and to make the matters worse for her, she begotten an earth pony, impossible to take part of the clan's legacy.

    Her husband, Feurig, started feeling disgusted at her and later had an affair with one of the servant mares (Aida). Eventually resulting to a unicorn filly.

   Frölich was aware of this adultery but granted him forgiveness and kept it from public.

   Unlike how the stallion saw Octavia, his wife was completely attached to the his bastard daughter, seeing her as the child she should have gotten. She eventually became so obsessed with this filly that she wanted to completely make her as her own, culminating to a successful conspiration of the servant mare's murder .

  The Von Clef couple were proud of her, giving her whatever she desired, honing her to become one of the best Von Clef.
 
  Octavia wasn't abandoned, not physically at least. She knew herself how better she was compared to Vinyl in playing any classical instruments so she couldn't understand why was she so ill-treated. (And to her knowledge, Vinyl was nothing more than a servant's orphan that her parents adopted.) Eventually she grew to despise her more and more, convinced that the unicorn stole everything that's hers.

   One night, Octavia discovers Vinyl's secret interest and orientation to the modern music and used this to persuade her to run away because 'as long as she stays here, she will never be happy because she will never be allowed to do what her heart truly desired'.

   She basically thought if Vinyl is gone, her parents will finally acknowledge her as the better musician, as the perfect daughter they deserved. However the contrary happened. Their treatment to her became more violent, even if they didn't know she had something to do with their princess' disappearance. Finally Octavia fully understood that they will never will be proud nor love her because of what she is: an earth pony, a bastard, and a living memoir of a humiliating and dreadful past.


   Years after, she couldn't stand it anymore and fleed from Canterlot, finding Vinyl first in mind.

   She unexpectedly met her in a club where she works as a deejay and tells her everything, skipping the part where she should be apologizing for how she thought about Vinyl all those years. (She just don't know how to say 'sorry'.)

   The part of Equestria where they were now in was a very horrifyingly different and dangerous world. But she didn't want to go back and Vinyl is the only pony that was willing to provide her shelter, money, and protection. 

   The place was shocking to her, but not as surprising as how Vinyl changed. Mentally, physically.









   The story drops there for now. Yeah, there are holes with the details. Some are intended so I can adjust the scenes to fit them with the other characters' stories.

  It sounds more of an Octavia-sided but I don't want it to be. I already have ideas for Lyra, Bon Bon, Time Turner and Trixie, and more on Vinyl but they aren't as broad as this one. I even have yet to come up with what the entire setting would be like. So well, that's all for now. Wow, I just realized how serious this has to be though of.
